Prof. Jingli Yuan (born: 1963, China) obtained his Ph. D. Degree from Waseda University (Japan) in 1997. After working in Japan Science and Technology as a post- doctoral fellow, he got a professor position in Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics since 2000. Prof. Yuan is the director of Molecular Probe & Biotechnology Group and visiting associate professor of Graduate School, Waseda University now.

Research Introduction:
Lanthanide chelates have been successfully developed as fluorescence probes and widely used for highly sensitive time-resolved fluoroimmunoassay (TR-FIA), DNA hybridization assay, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), TRF bioimaging microscopy. The advantage of the microsecond TRF measurement using lanthanide fluorescence probe is its high sensitivity. The method permits easy distinction of specific fluorescence signal of the long-lived label from short-lived background signal present in most biological samples, and also obviates the problems associated with scattering light of the optical components, whereas these problems cannot be solved easily by the general fluorescence methods.

Research Focuses:
Synthesis and characterization of novel lanthanide fluorescence probes.
Development of TRF bioassay methods, including heterogeneous and homogeneous TR-FIA, DNA hybridization assay, and fluorescence imaging microscopy.
R&D of lanthanide nanoparticle fluorescence probes and their application to highly sensitive bioassay and biotechnology.
 
 
1983年7月畢業(yè)于蘭州大學(xué)化學(xué)系無機化學(xué)專業(yè),1986年7月同校碩士研究生畢業(yè)(理學(xué)碩士)。1997年3月獲早稻田大學(xué)理學(xué)博士學(xué)位后在日本科學(xué)技術(shù)振興事業(yè)團CREST項目從事博士后研究。2000年3月回國任大連化學(xué)物理研究所研究員,分子探針與生物技術(shù)研究組組長,兼任早稻田大學(xué)客座副教授。

主要研究方向;
1. 功能性熒光化合物的合成及表征。該部分的研究重點為新型稀土熒光標(biāo)記物的設(shè)計、制備與表征。
2. 以熒光標(biāo)記物為分子探針的生物檢測技術(shù)研究。該部分的研究重點包括:
(1) 高靈敏度免疫分析技術(shù)研究
(2) 高靈敏度核酸雜交分析技術(shù)研究
(3) 均相及多組分免疫分析技術(shù)和核酸雜交分析技術(shù)研究。
3. 功能性納米熒光材料制備及相關(guān)納米生物測定技術(shù)研究。該部分的研究重點包括:
(1)功能性納米稀土熒光材料的制備及表征
(2)基于納米稀土熒光材料的新型生物檢測技術(shù)研究。
