Zheng Lansun, male, Han nationality, was one of the first graduate students in chemistry jointly recruited by China and the USA for certain major projects. Zheng was engaged in the pioneering research of radical cluster science at Rice University in the USA. He made use of what he learned abroad to take the lead in carrying out domestic research on laser generation and radical clusters. He set up the radical cluster research base from the ground up and has played a positive role in promoting the domestic development of such innovative subjects.
His work excels in terms of creating new research methods, paying attention to the interaction of different subjects, making comprehensive use of high technology, expanding and deepening research fields, combining experiment and theory, and discovering and summarizing basic rules. Zheng Lansun has published over 260 academic dissertations in many publications. |
