Abstract：
The esterification and polycondensation kinetics of using 2,6-naphthalic acid as the third reactive component in copolycondensation with pure terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol are studied. At the same time，the thermal behaviors and crystalline of the copolyester and the dispersion of SiO2 in it are also discussed. Through the synthetic test of the copolyester on industrial plant，the co-PET chip has been produced and later industrialized .Film stretching test was carried out successfully. Based on all the analysis，the co-PET films can meet the demands of capacitor used PET film.
