Abstract:
With SIPM and poly (ether ester) as modification agents, high shrinkage polyester fibers with antistatic property were prepared by copolymerization and blending. The effects of modification agent variety, content and drawing temperature on the shrinkage and antistatic properties of polyester fiber were studied. The results showed that the fiber's specific resistance was decreased with poly(ether ester) increasing. The antistatic property of blending fiber was better than that of copolymerization fiber. Intruding SIPM could improve the shrinkage property of fiber. Intruding poly (ether ester) simultaneously in fiber, the shrinkage property was decreased. The shrinkage rate of the fiber obtained at low temperature was higher than the fiber obtained at high temperature.
