Abstract：o-Bromophenol methyl ether is synthesized with phenol, bromine and dimethyl sulfate. The reaction is simple, the conditions are mild and the yield is high. The better conditions of bromophenol are as follows:reaction time is 2 h, reaction temperature is 45℃, the mole ratio of bromophenol to dimethyl sulfate is 0.9∶1.
